Activities and Benefits that are available:

• Subscription to the quarterly newsletter
• Subscription to the annual publication of Utah Archaeology
• Opportunities to participate in the Utah Avocational Education Programs. This program includes three levels of classroom and field experience.
• Opportunities to assist professional archaeologist in the preservation and development of Utah's cultural resources.
• To participate in training workshops
• Opportunities to become part of the state sanction teams with professional supervising
• Opportunities to analyze and classify artifacts
• Annual Utah statewide conventions that includes educational opportunities, field trips and entertainment

Local chapters provide:

• Monthly meetings and presentations by archaeologists and anthropologists and involvement in local activities.
• Chapters and state membership concurrent.
